Job Title: Mobile App Developer Intern

Location: Yaba, Lagos

Job Description
  • Build Products Using HTML/CSS/JS/PHP and Other Front-End Technologies
  • Code and Deploy Applications in a Cross-Platform, Cross-Browser Environment
  • Update Current products and websites to conform with current web standards
  • Inherit and develop our mobile application codebase and enhance the app’s functionality
  • Code and Deploy Mobile Applications in a Cross-Platform Environment
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Applicants must have basic knowledge of PHP and front-end web development technologies.
  • Must be eager to learn.
  • Should be able to work well with a team
  • Should be familiar with jQuery, PHP (Laravel), SQL. Knowledge of frameworks like Vue, React is a plus.
  • Should have good knowledge of React, React-Native and Android app development
  • Should be able to adopt an existing codebase and improve on it using standard practices.
  • Knowledge of Git is a plus
  • Age: 18 - 30

JAMB Fixes Admission Cut-off Marks for 2017/2018 Academic Session

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday fixed the cut-off marks for admission into higher institutions of learning in the country for the 2017/2018 academic session. At a policy meeting held with the heads of institutions and other education regulatory bodies in Abuja, the examination body ratified 120 as the minimum mark for degree-awarding institutions. The meeting at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja, had in attendance vice chancellors, Rectors, Provosts and Registrars of tertiary institutions. For the polytechnics, the lowest mark that qualifies a candidate for admission is 100, while the highest that an institution can fix is 180. Same mark applies to Colleges of Education. The admission cut-off mark for Innovative Enterprise Institutions ranges between 110 and 120.
