Shift Quality Auditor Recruitment

A multinational located on the mainland axis of Lagos, is looking to recruit a Shift Quality Auditor.

Job Summary:
The Shift Quality Auditor provides on-shift support to Operations in regards to product specification and quality systems issues. He also carries out laboratory tests for finished products and implementation of required QMS processes.



Reports To: Senior Quality Auditor


 Main Responsibility:

Perform work in a safe manner and support mill safety obligations.
Share expertise and knowledge of product quality and the consumer impact with operation's crews.
Provide accurate and timely testing of results to identify and correct quality deficiencies on shift.
Complete NCR documents when necessary and send to relevant stakeholders.
Coach Operations crew on product quality.
Compile quality reports as required on EWMA and accumulate quality statistical data.
Provide support for the determination of root causes of out-of specification product.
Execute Quality Protocols.
Conduct/Partake in KC internal Audits and other QMS processes/improvement initiatives, capture and follow up on findings for prompt attention.
Complete Raw Material and Finished Product non-conformances on Etq.Conduct performance and wet tests to support operations and commercial strategic plans.
Ensure that operators focus on CTQ parameters and Attribute checks.Support Senior Quality Auditor with entrenching Quality mindset, ensuring process improvement and achieving Quality targets of Lagos Mill.
Ensure QA records and retain samples are properly maintained.Conduct customer complaint analysis of samples & complete QA Adhoc tasks.

EWMA/SPC System knowledge.
Understanding of ISO 9001EtQ System knowledge



Required Qualification & Experience:

  • A  minimum of 3 years quality experience in FMCG environment as Quality Control Inspector/Analyst. 
  • A Bachelors Degree in Food Science /Tech ,Chemistry, Microbiology , Biochemistry etc.Experience in ISO 9001 Standards and/or a formal qualification in Quality Management will be an advantage.
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite of Packages)Good communication and analytical skills.

JAMB Fixes Admission Cut-off Marks for 2017/2018 Academic Session

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday fixed the cut-off marks for admission into higher institutions of learning in the country for the 2017/2018 academic session. At a policy meeting held with the heads of institutions and other education regulatory bodies in Abuja, the examination body ratified 120 as the minimum mark for degree-awarding institutions. The meeting at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja, had in attendance vice chancellors, Rectors, Provosts and Registrars of tertiary institutions. For the polytechnics, the lowest mark that qualifies a candidate for admission is 100, while the highest that an institution can fix is 180. Same mark applies to Colleges of Education. The admission cut-off mark for Innovative Enterprise Institutions ranges between 110 and 120.
