Operation Officer and An Accountant Needed in A Shipping Company

A Shipping Company is seeking to fill the position below:

1. JOB TITLE: Accountant

Qualification, Requirement and Experience

  • He/she must possess First Degree in Accounting,Finance, Business or Other related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years experience in a reputable company 
  • Must not be above 28years
  • Must be a member of relevant professional bodies. (ICAN, ACCA, CIS)
  • Must have reasonable understanding of shipping/logistics industry. 
  • Must have good Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting Knowledge
  • Possess good knowledge of some Accounting Software. 

Salary is good and competitive.
                       

2. JOB TITLE: Operation officer

 Qualification, Requirement and Experience

  • He/she must have good knowledge of shipping and logistics Background
  • HND or OND in Shipping Management / Business Admin
  • Must be a computer literate
  • Conversant with activities in clearing/ forwarding industry 
  • 2-5 years experience in similar field
  • He will be responsible for all shipping operations.

JAMB Fixes Admission Cut-off Marks for 2017/2018 Academic Session

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday fixed the cut-off marks for admission into higher institutions of learning in the country for the 2017/2018 academic session. At a policy meeting held with the heads of institutions and other education regulatory bodies in Abuja, the examination body ratified 120 as the minimum mark for degree-awarding institutions. The meeting at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja, had in attendance vice chancellors, Rectors, Provosts and Registrars of tertiary institutions. For the polytechnics, the lowest mark that qualifies a candidate for admission is 100, while the highest that an institution can fix is 180. Same mark applies to Colleges of Education. The admission cut-off mark for Innovative Enterprise Institutions ranges between 110 and 120.
