Electrical Engineer and Document Controller Vacancies

A) Instrument/Automation/Electronic Engineer

 Responsibility:
Responsible for designing, developing,installing,managing equipment which are used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes.

Requirement and Qualification: 

  • B.Sc Engineering
  • Oil and Gas experience is a must.
  • Strong software and programming skills.
  • Conversant with engineering codes.


B ) Document Controller

 Role: 

  • Oversee the storage, access, indexing, retrieval, distribution and deletion of documents within the company.
  • Oversee and facilitate the distribution and security information within the company.


Qualification: B.Sc in Admin Studies

Requirement and Experience: 

  • 2-3 years experience 
  • Oil and Gas industry experience is a must.
  • Experience processing both engineering and supplier documents.
  • Understands Master Document Register


C) Electrical Engineer

Requirement:

  • Experience in the design of buildings power, lighting, wiring systems, electric motors, navigation systems, utilities and communication.
  • Must have strong background in electrical engineering.
  • Oil and Gas experience is a must.
  • Conversant with engineering codes.

JAMB Fixes Admission Cut-off Marks for 2017/2018 Academic Session

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday fixed the cut-off marks for admission into higher institutions of learning in the country for the 2017/2018 academic session. At a policy meeting held with the heads of institutions and other education regulatory bodies in Abuja, the examination body ratified 120 as the minimum mark for degree-awarding institutions. The meeting at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja, had in attendance vice chancellors, Rectors, Provosts and Registrars of tertiary institutions. For the polytechnics, the lowest mark that qualifies a candidate for admission is 100, while the highest that an institution can fix is 180. Same mark applies to Colleges of Education. The admission cut-off mark for Innovative Enterprise Institutions ranges between 110 and 120.
