Principal Consultant Needed in a Management Consulting Firm

A management consulting firm seek to engage the services of a Principal Consultant 

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years relevant hands-on experience in management consulting.

Responsibilities
He/she will be responsible for the analysis, design, scheduling and delivery of solutions on behalf of the company to meet clients’ expectations. Our preferred candidates will be expected to:

  • Manage and mentor the team of consultants assigned to projects
  • Manage existing clients and build relationships with new clients
  • Guide research and analysis efforts
  • Ensure execution of assigned projects within the time, scope and budget negotiated with the client
  • Evaluate existing systems and procedures and make recommendations for improvement where necessary
  • Designing prototypes and proof of concepts that best fit the client’s needs; and ensuring client satisfaction until the project is complete
  • To create simple business cases and financial models
  • Project management certification and a MBA  degree will be an added advantage
  • Previous practical experience in a financial services sector will be an added advantage.

JAMB Fixes Admission Cut-off Marks for 2017/2018 Academic Session

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday fixed the cut-off marks for admission into higher institutions of learning in the country for the 2017/2018 academic session. At a policy meeting held with the heads of institutions and other education regulatory bodies in Abuja, the examination body ratified 120 as the minimum mark for degree-awarding institutions. The meeting at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja, had in attendance vice chancellors, Rectors, Provosts and Registrars of tertiary institutions. For the polytechnics, the lowest mark that qualifies a candidate for admission is 100, while the highest that an institution can fix is 180. Same mark applies to Colleges of Education. The admission cut-off mark for Innovative Enterprise Institutions ranges between 110 and 120.
