An International organization providing advert platform for the telecommunications industry is looking for an experienced candidate in advert sales for print and electronic media for the position of Advert Sales Executive. Please see details below:

Job Position : Advert Sales Executive 

  • Qualification: Any degree 
  •  Experience: 3+ years
  •  Location: Lagos 
  • Job Field: Media / Advertising / Advert sales/Digital Marketing 
Salary: 3 to 8 million naira per annum, depending on the person’s experience and skills.

Job Description
• In this role, you will connect with the top most companies and understand their promotional ways.
• Sell our digital platform to promote their products.
• You will consult with clients on the best ways to leverage the available digital marketing platforms and products in order to achieve their marketing goals and objectives.

Job Functions and Responsibilities
• Build and maintain an active sales pipeline of prospects
• Diligent phone and email outreach to engage potential customers
• Match our product offerings to prospects goals and initiatives
• Negotiate and close profitable business deals in a timely fashion
• Partner with Account Management Team to retain and grow existing business.

Required Experience and Skills
• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in digital marketing, media, and/or advertising need to apply
• Experience in building and maintaining a sales pipeline
• Exceptional communication skills
• Team-player mindset
• Detail oriented with ability to manage many client relationships
• Consultative selling experience and the ability to close business deals
• Good presentation skills
• Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service

JAMB Fixes Admission Cut-off Marks for 2017/2018 Academic Session

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday fixed the cut-off marks for admission into higher institutions of learning in the country for the 2017/2018 academic session. At a policy meeting held with the heads of institutions and other education regulatory bodies in Abuja, the examination body ratified 120 as the minimum mark for degree-awarding institutions. The meeting at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja, had in attendance vice chancellors, Rectors, Provosts and Registrars of tertiary institutions. For the polytechnics, the lowest mark that qualifies a candidate for admission is 100, while the highest that an institution can fix is 180. Same mark applies to Colleges of Education. The admission cut-off mark for Innovative Enterprise Institutions ranges between 110 and 120.
